Who's Behind this all?<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

A person. Which already narrows the field quite a bit. Not a philosopher. Not a journalist. Not a designer. Not a professional writer. And above all, not someone who has found the answers. I\u2019m simply a curious person who likes to observe what\u2019s going on around me, write, develop ideas, and look at things from different perspectives. I\u2019m interested in people and their contradictions. Society. Power. Relationships. Our beliefs and that extraordinary ability we have to quickly turn them into certainties. I like irony. And sarcasm even more. Maybe because every now and then it manages to lay a contradiction right before our eyes without needing to write ten paragraphs. Although, as this site shows, I can\u2019t always resist writing those ten paragraphs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Not a Personal Brand<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

There\u2019s inevitably someone behind ReflectionChic. But I prefer to stay in the background a bit. No pensive photos in front of a bookshelf. No r\u00e9sum\u00e9. And no story in which every experience of my life suddenly seems to have inevitably led me to create this site. I\u2019m not the content. The content is the ideas, the questions, the stories, the designs, and\u2014hopefully\u2014the conversations that will arise from all of this.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Why ReflectionChic?<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Because Reflection comes first. Thinking. Questioning. Being curious. Changing perspectives. Chic comes second. The image, the design, and the way certain ideas can emerge from the mind and become something visible. The logo simply makes it clear which of the two comes first. With little diplomacy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

So what's the Point?<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

ReflectionChic isn\u2019t here to convince you, teach you something, or tell you what to think. It prefers to put something on the table. A question in THINK<\/a>. A story in READ<\/a>. An idea to wear in WEAR<\/a>. Then we can agree. Or not. We can change our minds. Or stay exactly where we were. But if, in the end, we\u2019ve looked at something from a different perspective or understood a little better why someone else sees it differently, I\u2019d say it didn\u2019t go too badly. In an age of monologues, even a conversation can be a small act of rebellion.<\/p>\n
