And then there are others that linger. They grow, encounter characters, create conflicts, and, at a certain point, demand more space. READ was created for them. Or perhaps for me. It’s the least mature part of ReflectionChic, but probably the one with the most projects in the works: about ten projects, including novels, short stories, plays, fairy tales for adults, and various experiments. Some are almost ready. Others are being revised. Still others are in the phase technically defined as: “I know exactly what I want to do. I just need to rewrite half the book.”
They’re different stories, but they all start from more or less the same place: people, contradictions, relationships, power, choices, and that extraordinary ability we have to find excellent reasons to justify almost everything we do.

Not a Bookshop — A Work in Progress

READ doesn’t want to wait until a book is finished to talk about it. Here you’ll find projects still in the works: covers, mini-synopses, a few words on why they came to be, and some excerpts. A little window into the workshop—without turning it into a reality show. Because a book, at least in my case, doesn’t magically appear on Amazon after a particularly inspired night or a rampant use of artificial intelligence. It’s born. It changes. It gets rewritten. Sometimes it gets better. Sometimes it gets worse. And sometimes we go back to the previous version, pretending it was all planned that way. When it’s ready, self-publishing will follow. ReflectionChic tells the book’s story. The platform makes it available.
